Venom

Another superhero and again I wanted to create my own version, so initially I collected a multitude of reference and then felt my way through the process.

The warp tool came in very handy here regarding the shaped of the tongue, which was surprisingly difficult to get right.

To achieve the 3d effect of the tongue I adapted a sticker spray brush that image stamped a 3d symbol with a small gap and then applied the palette knife to smooth things together.
