Very much a pastel based piece of art and this out of all my ArtRage paintings so far has come out in a very similar manner to that of my old pastel portraits, this makes the transition to digital a little easier.

I wasn't quite happy with the background but for the moment works well enough until I can figure out in my later paintings how to approach the background of a portrait.
